Man Serving Five-Year Prison Sentence for Sex Offense Against Minor
Update | April 19, 2026: Updated to reflect the outcome of the case.
On September 17, 2024, Di’Amonta Antwain Robinson, 32, was arrested on a warrant for unlawful sexual activity with certain minors, also referred to as sexual battery by an individual 24 years or older against a 16-17 year old victim.
The incident report indicates that Robinson was under investigation by the Department of Children and Families.
In February 2025, Robinson took a no contest plea deal in which he was convicted, designated a sex offender, and sentenced to five years in prison and five years of community control.

Robinson did not post bond as his case was ongoing but he was convicted of several pretrial release violation charges. Defendants can be charged under the pretrial release violation statute for court order violations that occur from jail.
As of April 2026, Robinson is at the Lancaster Correctional Institution with a scheduled release date of June 14, 2029.
Robinson was arrested and charged with a sex crime in 2022 but the case was dropped. A news article on the case says Robinson allegedly drugged and raped the victim.
