High Springs Man Arrested for Domestic Battery by Strangulation

John Rhea Peck, 30, was arrested Thursday afternoon and charged with aggravated battery and domestic battery by strangulation. 

The arrest report states Peck randomly accused the victim of cheating while she was taking a shower and shoved her to the ground. Peck dragged her into another room and strangled her. 

Peck has no bond pending a pretrial detention motion by the State Attorney’s Office.
