High Springs Man Arrested After Slapping Woman Multiple Times

Eddie Lee Bing, 40, was arrested on Sunday and charged with misdemeanor domestic battery.

High Springs Police Department (HSPD) officers arrived at the incident location and the victim told them Bing slapped her across the face multiple times and choked her. 

Bing reportedly admitted to the slapping and stated “it wasn’t that hard.” Lee said he didn’t choke or strangle the victim. 

Another resident of the house told police that she saw Bing hurt the victim. 

Bing was released after posting a $15,000 bond.

Update | September 8, 2026:

In January 2025, Bing was convicted in a no-contest plea deal and sentenced to one year of probation. He was later sentenced to roughly a month in jail for violating the conditions of his probation.
