Man Arrested for Scratching Woman Over Argument About Gas; Released After Paying Bond

Nicholas David Delfino, 33, was arrested on Saturday and charged with domestic battery. 

Alachua Police Department (APD) Officer Anthony Garrido reported that Delfino scratched the victim while attempting to grab her hands in an argument over gas. 

Delfino may have been evacuating Hurricane Milton, as his address is in Hillsborough County. 

Delfino has a charge from March for battering a police officer. 

Delfino’s was released after paying a $2,500 bond.
