Man Arrested for Threatening Teenager with Gun at Wawa
Tuesday morning, police booked Christian Morgan Collier, 32, into the Alachua County Jail on an aggravated assault warrant.

The incident occurred at Wawa (2373 SW Archer Rd.) on Sunday at 4:30 a.m.
The 15-year-old victim was sitting at one of the outside tables when Collier approached and began accusing him of stealing his vehicle. The victim tried explaining his age and that he did not steal his vehicle. Collier then produced a firearm from his waistband, reportedly pulling back the slide and telling the victim he didn’t “want to have to do this.”
The entire incident was caught on video surveillance, the police report states.
The police report doesn’t clarify how the incident concluded. Based on the report, it doesn't appear that Collier acted on his threat to shoot, but he caused the victim fear that he would shoot.
Collier has an adjudication for misdemeanor criminal mischief and a prior Baker Act, court records show.
Initially, court records indicated that the Eighth Judicial Circuit State Attorney's Office was going to file a pretrial detention motion against Collier. Prosecutors did not submit the motion, prompting Collier to be given a bond.
Judge Meshon Rawls set the bond at $250,000 on Wednesday with conditions to not contact the victim or possess weapons and firearms. As of this writing, Collier has not posted the bond and he remains in the Alachua County Jail.
