Man Arrested on Over Three-Year-Old Warrant for Sexual Battery Against Child and Transmitting Harmful Material to Minor

On Thursday, Alachua County Sheriff’s Office deputies booked Inmer Misael Barrios Osorio, 39, into jail on a warrant for one count of transmitting harmful material to a minor and three counts of sexual battery against a victim 11 or younger. The warrant was issued over three years ago, around the same time prosecutors filed formal charges.  

Barrios Osorio remains in jail pending a pretrial detention motion by the State Attorney’s Office. He has an arraignment scheduled for next month. Further details are not currently available.
