Alachua County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO) deputies arrested Emanuel Jeffery Glover, 34, Wednesday on a warrant for intimidation.

According to the sworn complaint, Glover was in Gainesville, Georgia, on May 17 when he called the victim in Gainesville, Florida, and threatened to kill her and their shared family members.

The victim hung up the phone but Glover called back a few moments later. The victim began audio recording. Glover told the victim, "I am going to kill you and then kill myself.”

The victim hung up but Glover kept contacting her through text. Glover stated over text, "Don't pick me up watch this and see," "You are making it worse," and" If I wanted to do something to you do you think ignoring my phone calls would help you I'm just curious?”

Glover told the victim he’d be coming to Gainesville, Florida, the following day and said when he arrived, “There will be problems.”

ACSO Deputy Robert Stafford was on the scene when Glover attempted to call the victim again. Stafford reported, “Glover made multiple suicidal statements to me during this call and also stated that if my wife treated me the way the victim treated him that I would want to kill her too.”

Glover has no bond pending a pretrial detention motion by the State Attorney’s Office.
