Facing up to a year in jail for the misdemeanor case, Gibson took a plea deal that was accepted by Judge Menshon Rawls.
The police report states Gibson and the victim got into a heated verbal altercation, leading her to threaten to call the police. Gibson responded by punching her in the face and pushing her onto the floor. A witness saw Gibson shove the victim and kicked him out of the house.
After leaving, Gibson realized he left his phone in the residence and broke a window to get it back.
Under his probation, Gibson is required to complete an anger management program.
