Multiple Shootings in Gainesville from Lincoln Estates to Duval Heights

Friday night, on July 7th there were three reports of gunshots, in Lincoln Estates, Duval Heights, as well as the Earl apartments complex.
The first shooting occurred at 10:23 pm on Southeast 19th Terrace. Callers advised they heard eight to nine shots, with some saying there were twelve. Callers reported it sounded like two guns were being fired. A white two-door car with no lights was seen leaving the area with callers reporting that it was being chased by a white four-door car with lights on. Police audio indicates an officer was with a victim at Gator Liquor store shortly after the shooting, however, no reports indicate they were a victim of a gunshot wound. A GPD Facebook post reveals this was a drive-by shooting and that several vehicles were struck by bullets.
The second shooting occurred at 10:49 on Northeast 25th Terrace. An officer reported the call taker was speaking to someone in the background and said her baby was shot. Police audio indicates she was speaking metaphorically as both of the victims were adults, one male, and one female. One officer gave an order on the radio to check everyone for weapons even if they’re injured. Police audio suggested the male victim sustained a gunshot wound to the foot while the female victim sustained a gunshot wound to the shoulder.
Police then got a call from someone at the Earl Apartments complex a few minutes after 11:00 pm. The call taker said they heard six to seven gunshots with what sounded like a handgun from the back corner of the complex. It is unlikely this is related to the previous two shootings as this occurred on the opposite side of town to Northeast 25th.
GPD has not made any public reports about any gunshots at the Earl apartments, however, they did publicly report on the shootings at Lincoln Estates and Duval Heights. They have stated both of these shootings are active investigations and have not reported any arrests being made.
Update: On July 13, incident reports regarding the shootings at Duval Heights and Lincoln Estates were retrieved. There were no incident reports created on the incident at Earl apartments according to the GPD office of Public Records. Both shootings at Lincoln Estates and Duval Heights are still open investigations.
Update 2: On September 12, 2023, incident reports on the shootings at Lincoln Estates and Duval Heights were retrieved again in order to check the status of these incidents. Both shootings are still open investigations. GPD has not made any updates regarding these incidents.
