One Dead After Shooting at Lincoln Estates

A 20-year-old man succumbed to his injuries after being shot at Lincoln Estates last night at 9:18 pm.

After receiving calls about a man with a gunshot wound to the chest on SE 17th Drive, Gainesville Police Department (GPD) officers and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) arrived on the scene and the man was transported to the hospital where he died from his injuries.

As of this writing, GPD has not announced any information on the shooting and no arrests have been reported.
