Prosecutors Formally Charge Palm Harbor Man After Child Predator Sting
Kyle Flowers Said that he Was Recently Working as a Golf Instructor for Children
On Monday, prosecutors formally charged Kyle Michael Flowers, 33, with traveling to meet a minor, transmission of harmful material to a minor using an electronic device, online child solicitation and unlawful use of a two-way communications device.
Flowers was caught in the child predator sting operation that was announced by the Alachua County Sheriff’s Office earlier this month. Flowers is one of 16 men caught in the sting.
Flowers’ address is registered to Palm Harbor but the police report indicates he has ties to Clearwater.
When filing the pretrial detention motion, prosecutors wrote that Flowers violated the law by “traveling from Clearwater, Florida to Gainesville, Florida on July 30, 2026, with the intention of meeting who he believed to be a juvenile for sexual activities."
Flowers made contact with an undercover (UC) account on the MeetMee application operated by police posing as a 15-year-old girl, and they began speaking on Telegram shortly after.
Flowers told the presumed child he would take her underwear shopping and said he'd buy her "cute leggings" that make her "booty look good" as a present for her 16th birthday. Flowers asked if UC would try on the clothing items for him or if he'd have to use his imagination.
Flowers went on to talk about his genitalia and told the presumed child she was the "right age" to start being "turned on" and "horny."
Flowers encouraged UC to send him a "sexy pic," to which she replied that it's not something she normally does. Flowers responded by saying there are evil people in the world and that he'd only use it as his "porn at night to bust."
As the conversation continued, Flowers made sexually explicit comments about the presumed child's genitalia and said that he could play put-put go with her. He went on to say that he’d been working at a golf club and was “recently” teaching children.
UC mentioned she was going to be visiting her cousin in Gainesville. Flowers asked for a picture of the cousin and UC sent a picture. Flowers told UC she was "cuter" in his eyes.
The arrest report states Flowers "offered to play twister, watch a movie, watch live streams, or stream themselves. [Flowers] suggested playing twister and whoever loses takes a piece of clothing off. The UC asked what happens when no one has clothes left and [Flowers] stated 'We all lay on the floor [and] play with each other.' The UC asked what [Flowers] would do and [he] replied 'I would have you two lay there with your legs open and daddy would play with your pussy lips.' [Flowers] continued to indicate his intention to 'play' with both UC and UC2's 'pussy lips' and that they should 'make out' so [his] 'cock could get hard.' [Flowers] continued sexual communication with the UC to include oral sex."
Flowers sent UC photos of himself and asked the presumed child to send some in a bra and panties or bathing suit.
UC asked Flowers to bring twister and asked if he had condoms. Flowers said he'd bring condoms and indicated a desire to bring other men into the encounter. Flowers said he wanted to watch UC engage in sex with other men and that he wants "more cocks inside you then just my cock." Flowers also offered to bring a hoodie for UC and said she would wear it at the mall before he gets her a bra and panties to wear underneath.
Flowers asked UC questions about what she was wearing to bed and the color of her undergarments. UC said she doubted needing panties with Flowers and he replied, "no panties so daddy can come up behind you and feel those beautiful pussy lips." Flowers made further comments about taking UC's panties off with his teeth and said he'd "kiss [UC] from [her] belly button down to [her] naval and then open up those legs and slowly start licking [her] clit until daddy starts tasting" her.
Flowers talked about different sexual positions and "requested a photo of UC in her panties and the UC sent a photo of underwear on skin." Flowers told UC she "made daddy grow."
UC asked Flowers if he was ever attracted to "someone like" her and he advised that he hadn't but that "that as he has gotten older he has become more attracted to girls like her but he has not previously attempted anything due to a fear of getting caught."
Flowers asked UC for her age again. UC previously said 15 and a few months away from her birthday, but this time she said 14. Flowers acknowledged her age and said it was fine.
The arrest report states Flowers "again stated that he would bring twister, they could cook together in their 'undies,' and again offered to purchase a bra and panties. [Flowers] then continued making plans to meet and spoke about having to leave his house between 7-9am."
Flowers continued sexually soliciting the presumed child in a vulgar manner and sent a photo depicting his genitals pressed against his underwear so the outline could be shown.
Flowers traveled to the designated meeting location and was taken into police custody. Flowers admitted to picking up the game of twister and condoms but was reportedly "adamant" he was “not actually going to have sex” with the presumed child. The items were found in his vehicle.
If found guilty, Flowers faces up to 30 years in prison.
According to Flowers’ booking report, he was placed under a “close observation” security housing level at the Alachua County Jail.
Flowers has an arraignment scheduled for September 9.
