Sanford Man Arrested in Gainesville for Simple Battery

Lindsey Crews Sanders, 48, was arrested on Saturday and charged with simple battery. 

Crews was at the victim’s house to get his stuff and reportedly pushed her into a gate, causing bruises. 

Gainesville Police Department (GPD) Officer Haley Anthony reported that Crews claimed he was “moving the victim out of the way.” 

Crews claimed the victim tried to attack him but couldn’t specify where and had no visible injuries. 

Sanders' bond is set at $10,000.
