Sex Offender Sentenced to One Year of Probation for Not Meeting Registration Requirements

Registered sex offender Jesse James Lamar Ricks, 35, was found guilty of not meeting registration requirements Thursday and sentenced to six months community control followed by one year of probation, court records show.

The sworn complaint says Ricks "knowingly provided false information" by omitting vehicles from his registration form.

In 2009, Ricks was convicted in Bradford County of two counts of lewd or lascivious battery against a victim between 12 and 15 years of age.

In 2022, Ricks was convicted of providing false registration information in Bradford County, according to the Florida sex offender database.
