Appeals Court Sides With GRU Authority

A three judge panel with the State of Florida First District Court of Appeals has sided with the Gainesville Regional Utility Authority over the City of Gainesville. The judges ruled that the city cannot dissolve the authority through their charter because it conflicts with its legislative enactment.
