Below are the updated City of Gainesville traffic impacts scheduled for Oct. 5-11, 2026.
New Notices SE Second Ave.: The westbound lane of Southeast Second Avenue, from Southeast 10th Street to Southeast Ninth Street, will be closed Monday, Oct. 5-Sunday, Oct. 11.
Continuing Notices Impacts from The Streatery construction: Please note that businesses remain open during construction. Please visit our website for more information. - SW First Avenue: Southwest First Avenue, between South Main Street and Southwest Second Street, remains closed.
- SW First Street: Southwest First Street, between West University Avenue and Southwest First Avenue, remains closed.
SW Ninth Street: Southwest Ninth Street, from Southwest Eighth Place to Southwest Depot Avenue, will be closed going southbound until March 2028.
SW 19th Ave.: The 3500 Block of Southwest 19th Avenue will be closed at the intersection of Southwest 36th Terrace and Southwest 19th Avenue until March 2028. |
