Ignite Brazil Pastor Announces Youth Camp

RONDONÓPOLIS, MATO GROSSO, BRAZIL. At the Ignite Conference last month, a pastor with the Assembleia de Deus Nova Aliança (Adna) Central church in Brazil announced they would be hosting a youth camp affiliated with Ignite Life Center (ILC) church in Gainesville.
ILC used to host summer youth camps in Gainesville until reports came out that multiple children were sexually molested during their duration.
Despite multiple criminal cases and civil lawsuits, ILC has remained an active church in Gainesville and recently launched Ignite Brazil with Adna Central, a school of ministry for young adults to get credentials in church leadership.
A pastor at Adna Central and leader in Ignite Brazil, Joelson Moabes, advertised the program during the church's multi-day conference held by ILC pastors in late July.

Moabes said Ignite Brazil is a year-round program for ages 18+, but in January 2026, they will host a week-long youth camp for children between the ages of 11 and 16.
Moabes said in February or March, Ignite Brazil will take in their second-year class. He indicated the first-year class is relatively small but said the second-year class will host 20 boys and 20 girls.
Moabes introduced several Ignite Brazil leaders on stage, including Christian Ethics and English teachers, along with individuals assisting in financial and legal matters relating to the program.
Moabes encouraged Brazilian youth to sign up for Ignite Brazil, saying, “The disciple wants to become more and more like his discipler; his master. Our master is Jesus. Jesus is the most important person in our lives, and through him, we achieve eternal life for what He did for us.”
