Davis additionally possessed 1,760 images and 209 videos of computer generated CSAM.

Davis’ bond was set at $800,000 and did not post bond as his case was ongoing.

In his report, Dawson described his interview with Davis and his investigation, reporting the following:

[Editor’s Notes: Some portions of the report have been cut for viewer discretion, but it still remains obscenely graphic.]

“I sat in the driver seat and [Davis] sat in the front passenger seat. I verified with him that he understood his Miranda rights that I had read to him. [Davis] agreed that he understood them and that it was read to him. I collected his contact information and social media platforms he used. [Davis] gave me an email address of darrendavis376@gmail.com. He was unable to remember his phone number. He advised that he used Discord, Telegaurd, Talk now [and] Snapchat. [Davis] said that he used Telegaurd to ‘talk across state lines.’
While speaking with [Davis], he provided the passcode for his computer and cellular telephone. I asked him when the devices are examined, if CSAM was going to be located? [Davis] admitted at this time that there the was ‘a lot’ of porn, but did not believe there to be any child porn on his phone. He would download pornography from chat application Discord. He stated that he hoped he ‘was not dumb and downloaded it.’ [Davis] said that he downloaded ‘packs’ (of porn) on Discord. He explained that the ‘packs’ would range in size from 200 MBs to 40 GBs of data. The groups would share  MEGA files links that could have ‘anything’ in them. He would also resend these packs. He then reassured me that he was ‘pretty sure’ no child porn would be on his devices.
[Davis] admitted to ownership of the phone number (386-205-7247), email and discord account from the cybertip. I explained to him the image that was transmitted. [Davis] did not remember sending the image. [Davis] admitted to other Discord accounts being banned or disabled. One account, he learned was banned for child porn.
I asked [Davis] if he was attracted to children. He admitted that he was attracted to ‘not real’ kids or anime/ hand-drawn characters, also known as ‘loli’ anime. [Davis] referred to the hand drawn image characters as ‘fictional.’ He referred to the real CSAM as ‘irl.’ (irl is a common abbreviation for in real life meaning real people).
Near the end of the conversation, [Davis] stated that ‘lately I have gotten curious’ about child porn. He used Teleguard to download and view child pornography. He denied that he used Discord to view child porn. He explained that Discord would ‘ban your account quick’ for sharing CSAM. [Davis] informed me that his grandmother, brother or sister were not involved or had knowledge of the CSAM…
During the interview, [Davis] explained how he used Teleguard to find CSAM. I located conversations with [Davis] and others within that application. In one conversation with a person called ‘PedoMommy,’ the two message back and forth about how they would like to sexually abuse a toddler. They shared anime/hand drawn files of child and toddler like characters being sexually assaulted. [In] another conversation with a person called ‘knottyboy,’ the two trade files back and forth. [Davis] messaged ‘I love toddlers btw.’ ‘Knottyboy’ asked for ‘CP’ (child pornography). [Davis] transmitted a 01:13 video of a toddler aged female child being sexually battered by an adult male… [Davis] sent a total of five (including the prior one) videos of CSAM that involves children between the ages of 2 to 6 years of age. I also located a conversation on the Session with an account ‘PeakNeco.’ The two talk about their addiction to child pornography. At first, they share anime/hand drawn images. The two eventually trade images of CSAM. In a lot of the conversations, [Davis] roleplays as a mother who is sexually attracted to young children, specifically toddler age children.
A search of [the Sessions chat] application found a chat communication between [Davis](Mother) and PeakNeko. PeakNeko asked [Davis] if he was ‘masturbating to tots still since the last time.’ [Davis] replied, ‘Yep.’ PeakNeko messaged, ‘Glad to hear I’ve been masturbating to little kiddys everynight,’ and, ‘kinda wanting a CP fix.’ The two send approximately 15 files of hand drawn images… to one another. PeakNeko questioned [Davis] if he ‘preferred child porn and just being nice to me (PeakNeko) with the fantasy? Or do you feel actually feel better in the end with fantasy?’ [Davis] replied, ‘No I just assumed that you don't have irl.’ The two agree to trade CSAM. [Davis] asked if PeakNeko had ‘anything with boys or toddlers?’ [Davis] transmitted two videos of prepubescent females being sexually abused by adult males. They appear to be between the ages of 4 to 6. PeakNeko sends approximately 15 images of prepubescent children (mostly male) in various stages of nudity and engaged in sex acts. PeakNeko asked [Davis], ‘enjoying yourself?’ He responded with ‘Yessss.’ Later, PeakNeko asked [Davis], ‘Did you cum over toddlers again?’ [Davis] stated, ‘Heheheh yes.’
A search of the communications within [the Teleguard] application yielded 5 conversation threads with different people (‘loading,’ ‘futurepedo,’ ‘pedomommy,’ ‘jino98’ and ‘knottyboy’). In these conversations, [Davis] told the other users that he liked toddlers. He traded both anime/hand drawn images and CSAM with these users. They would talk about wanting to see the sexual abuse of children and their own fantasies involving children. [Davis] sent a total of eight files of CSAM.
[Davis] knowingly, willfully and by his own admission possessed and transmitted images of child sexual abuse material or child pornography. Also located with these files, [Davis] possessed images and videos of sexual acts between a human and an animal. While in the comission of these felonies, [Davis] used a two-way communication device (his cellular telephone) to facilitate the acts.”

GnvInfo was present in the courtroom during Davis’ change of plea hearing.

During court, generally several individuals across multiple cases are present and each are called one at a time. As Kreider read the charges aloud, multiple individuals in the courtroom looked forward in shock, disbelief and disgust.

Davis’ public defender Aburoncee Martin told him that because his offense could “arguably” be sexually motivated, it could “in theory” trigger the Jimmy Ryce Act, but that “because of the nature of this” he’s “not sure if that actually would happen.”

The Jimmy Ryce Act allows the involuntary civil commitment of individuals convicted of certain sex crimes after they’ve completed their sentences.

According to a law review by Florida State University, the Jimmy Ryce Act can apply to any “sexually violent predator” which is defined as "any person who: (a) Has been convicted of a sexually violent offense; and (b) Suffers from a mental abnormality or personality disorder that makes the person likely to engage in acts of sexual violence if not confined in a secure facility for long-term control, care, and treatment."

Davis responded “Yes” whenever Martin and Kreider asked if he was accepting and understanding of his plea conditions. Davis sounded quiet when he spoke. “I understand it’s a difficult choice but this is how you’ve chosen to resolve the case,” said Kreider. “Only you can choose. I understand it’s not an easy choice.”

Although he didn’t appear happy about his decision, Davis freely and voluntarily took the plea knowing he’d potentially spend the rest of his life in prison if he took his case to trial.

As of November 6, 2025, Davis remains in the Alachua County Jail awaiting transportation to a Florida Department of Corrections facility.

After he is released, Davis will be placed under sex offender probation for 15 years.
