Police booked Michael Neil Wallace, 48, into jail Tuesday afternoon on a warrant for sending a written threat to kill.

Gainesville Police Department (GPD) officers initially charged Wallace in August 2025. A warrant was issued in April 2026 but it wasn’t immediately served.

According to the police report, Wallace made a post where he accused GPD Corporal William Gough of illegally searching his business and stalking his wife. Addressing Gough directly, Wallace said if he ever came near him or his wife again, he would put “a bullet” in his “ugly creeper, rapist, pedo face.” Wallace then stated, “Try me pig!” before calling Gough a “corrupt, rapist, pedo law enforcement officer in Gainesville.”

Wallace reiterated that he’d kill Gough if he came near him or his wife again before concluding his post with “angel, lion, sword [and] flag emojis.”

The police report states Wallace owns the business Posh Haircuts for Men, assisting police in his identification, as he was pictured alongside a sign relating to his business on his Facebook account.

Wallace's Police Report (Alachua County Court Records)

According to the police report, “[Gough] has had previous encounters with [Wallace] in May of 2025, under which circumstances [Wallace] was placed under a Baker Act. Immediately after this incident, [Wallace] made Facebook posts naming [Gough], his family, and a specific tattoo [Gough] has on his arm; however, [Wallace] did not make any threats at that time. Due to the aforementioned Facebook posts made by [Wallace], [Gough] has been placed in substantial emotional distress, fearing for the safety of himself and his family.”

In April 2025, a woman made a post on Facebook warning users of Wallace and his business. The post states Wallace has stalked women, harassed and threatened his co-workers, and even harmed a client. The post indicates that Wallace’s clients have caught diseases due to him not cleaning his equipment. The post states Wallace made references to “murder and molestation of children” on his Facebook.

Wallace doesn’t appear to be active on Facebook presently.

The Alachua County Jail is holding Wallace on a $500,000 bond.
