Man Wearing Jason Mask Robs Chevron on Friday the 13th
On October 13, at 8:14 pm, the Gainesville Police Department (GPD) received a call about a robbery at the Chevron on 1510 S. Main Street. Police audio indicates the suspect was a Black man with a slim build wearing a red hoodie, black pants, and a white hockey mask. Officers stated the mask bore a resemblance to Jason, the main antagonist of the horror movie series, Friday the 13th.
Officers suspected the robber ran South towards Arbor Park Apartments.
The Chevron was contacted, however, nobody was available to answer any questions.
