Santa Fe College (SF) Assistant President Jay Anderson released the following statement on behalf of the college in regards to a SF Police Department (SFPD) officer's comments on body camera footage:
Marquis Lavar Stokes, 47, was arrested Thursday night and charged with child cruelty and domestic battery by strangulation.
The victim told a school resource officer that Stokes beat her the night before.
The
Rondoll Huggins, 31, was arrested early Saturday morning and charged with domestic battery.
The victim told police that Huggins pushed her down twice when she turned away from him to use the bathroom.
