Turning Point USA Founder Killed Months Following Gainesville Visit

OREM, UTAH - Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk was shot in the neck and killed Wednesday at an event for his American Comeback tour.
Kirk’s death comes roughly seven months after he visited Gainesville and held a public debate at the University of Florida for his previous iteration of the American Comeback tour.
Graphic videos of Kirk’s killing are circulating the internet. One video shows Kirk getting shot from far away, while another is up close, and blood can be seen visibly gushing out of his neck.

Another video circulating online depicts an individual running on a roof top immediately following the shooting.

After it was announced Kirk was shot, before he was announced dead, U.S. Rep. Kat Cammack, R-Gainesville made a post on Facebook calling for “justice” and “healing.”
Gainesville Mayor Harvey Ward and Newberry Mayor Tim Marden both expressed their sympathies for Kirk’s death in comments to the Gainesville Sun.
Kirk’s death has prompted many of his political adversaries to repost his opinions on gun violence, as he is now a victim of gun violence.
