From Traffic Stop to ICE Detention: 18-Year-Old Faces Deportation After Pleading No Contest to Second-Degree Misdemeanor
On Wednesday, June 10, at 11:21, a.m., Florida Highway Patrol Trooper Joshua Wilson conducted a traffic stop on Keyfer Antonio Victorio-Morales, who just turned 18 one day prior.
The citation indicates Wilson pulled over Victorio-Morales for driving in the rain without his headlights and/or taillights on. Wilson reported that he had “no driver’s license - never had one issued.”

Victorio-Morales was booked into the Alachua County Jail on a count operating a motor vehicle without a valid license, a second-degree misdemeanor.

Victorio-Morales technically had a bond of $2,000, but he was unable to be released from jail due to a hold from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
On Monday, Victorio-Morales pleaded no-contest. Judge Susan Miller-Jones withheld a formal conviction and imposed a time-served sentence. Victorio-Morales was placed into ICE custody shortly after.
Victorio-Morales shows up in the ICE inmate system but it’s not immediately clear where he is held.
