High Springs City Manager Has Worthless Check Criminal Case in North Carolina
High Springs City Manger Jeremy Marshall has a criminal case out of North Carolina.
Marshall is alleged to have filed a worthless check with the Food Lion Grocery store in June 2008, court records indicate.
In February 2009, a summons was issued for Marshall to appear in court but it was not served.

Marshall's official background report contains the same case number as the case represented above, proving the criminal charge is attributable to him and not a situation of someone having the same name.

Ironically, there are two police officers who serve as High Springs commissioners. Commissioner Chad Howell is a sergeant at the Alachua Police Department and Commissioner Tristan Grunder is a sergeant with the Gainesville Police Department.

GnvInfo emailed Marshall asking for more information on his criminal case but he did not respond.
Today, well over a decade after the alleged offense, court records still describe the status of the case as "pending."
