Chief Judge Orders Ignite Life Center to Pay Nearly $2 Million or Church Will be Sold
On June 4, 2026, Chief Judge William Davis signed an order of foreclosure against Ignite Life Center Church in their legal dispute against GenFi Ministries for not submitting mortgage payments. The Church will be sold if they don't pay over $1.9 million to GenFi.
This comes amid several criminal and civil cases involving child sexual abuse at Ignite Life Center.
Ignite Life Center will be publicly listed for sale at an auction on August 13, 2026, if the payment is not made, the order states.
A foreclosure website for Alachua County indicates that Ignite Life Center is set to be placed for sale at said date. The website doesn't name the Church but it shows the corresponding judgement amount and case number for their foreclosure case.

A source advised that Ignite Life Center leadership intends to leave the Gainesville property and to re-establish themselves at a new location. Pastor and leader of Ignite Life Center, Mark Vega, reportedly launched a $50,000 campaign to pay for relocation and secure a new building.
Vega is currently on pretrial release and faces a count of failing to report suspected child abuse, a felony carrying maximum sentence of five years in prison. Vega reportedly concealed and failed to report several child sexual abuse incidents in his church. Vega has a case management hearing scheduled for July 6.
