Monday morning, Gainesville Police Department (GPD) officers arrested Martin Delray Lavel Cloud, 36, and charged him with indecent exposure and resisting an officer without violence.

According to a Facebook post by GPD, "Shortly before 9:00 a.m... multiple officers responded to the Rails-to-Trails in the 1100 block of SE 4th Street regarding a male subject exposing himself and engaging in lewd behavior. Upon arrival, officers located and arrested Martin Delray Lavel Cloud."

The post states, "During the investigation, officers learned the suspect was filming individuals on the trail. Detectives believe there may be additional victims that saw him or were filmed."

GPD told members of the public, "If you witnessed this individual or believe you may be a victim, please contact GPD Detectives at 352-393-7670."

Cloud's arrest comes roughly one month after GPD announced reports of sexual assault at Rails to Trails, to include "groping trail users, indecent exposure, and acts of public masturbation."

It's unclear if Cloud is responsible for the prior sexual offenses at Rails to Trails or if there are multiple perpetrators.
